What It Is

J10 Bush Camp (also called “J10 tented bush camp”) is a campsite / self‑catering tented camp on the floodplain of Lake Kariba, Zimbabwe.

There are options between rustic campsites (bring your own tent) and more prepared safari tents.
It is fairly wild: wild animals sometimes come through the camp, especially since the area isn’t fenced. Elephants are known to visit.

Very scenic, natural setting. Good for wildlife viewing, especially for birds and animals grazing on the floodplain.
The tented safari option gives more comfort than basic camping.

* Wild animals do come near; the camp is open/wild. Not always fully “luxury”.
* Showers may only be cold; utilities (electricity) might be solar rather than mains.
